Really delicious breakfast biscuit and brown butter banana muffins. We had the orange cardamom latte and the seasonal cookie butter latte. Both were fantastic. The owner was serving us and was so attentive and interested in whether we liked our order. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed a quiet Sunday morning at Ground Hideout ☕️ it was the perfect place to get a warm cup on a Fall morning. I enjoyed an Orange Cardamom Oat Milk Latte because it called to me. It was when the barista explained that it had been a seasonal drink but folks loved it so much they added it to the regular menu. I was sold and it was a great choice. Loved every drop of it!! 😋 Didn’t eat anything but it looked yummy & quiet vegan and vegetarian friendly.

One of the best lates I’ve ever had. While I was waiting for my coffee, I saw a couple with some sandwiches so I looked at the food options. I went with the Chimichurri Melt, one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. All the ingredients were fresh and the flavor was outstanding. Highly recommend this place, will be back! Also the staff were phenomenal.

Family owned and operated business! Loved the vanilla latte! I asked about the vanilla and they said it’s made in-house and it’s balanced! He was right! No mods needed. It was sweet but not too sweet and had a great flavor. Very quaint on the inside and they sell beautiful plants! The service was great each time I came. They are friendly!

Love Ground Hideout coffee! I'm so happy i found this place. What an amazing family owned and operated business. The coffee was delicious and the breakfast burrito was very good. Attentive service by the owner. The decor inside was so beautiful.

A family owned business, with great quality food & drinks (some of my favorite bevs too), a cozy atmosphere and fantastic service. 10/10. So happy I found this walkable Long Beach gem. To walk in and see the family who owns the shop working together was the cherry on top (mom, dad and daughter). What’s not to love?! - great food, I want the sourdough turkey Panini - Honey pistachio latte was amazing - plenty of indoor & outdoor seating

Ground Hideout is one of those spots that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make you comfortable — you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The owner is incredibly sweet and attentive, always checking in with a smile and making sure everyone’s having a great experience. The coffee is perfection — rich, smooth, and clearly made with love. The food is just as impressive — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick caffeine fix or planning to hang out for a while, this place hits the mark every time. It’s truly a hidden gem in Long Beach — cozy, welcoming, and full of good vibes. Highly recommend!

The food and lattes are probably the best I’ve had in a while , the atmosphere is so lively and the owner Sue is extremely sweet and friendly. We had the bischoff coffee and omg it was to die for definitely worth the experience💕

Strongest coffee in town, and the best breakfast sandwiches. The Sunrise Sandwich is my favorite breakfast sandwich in Long Beach. It’s spicy, tangy, and perfectly filling. I love the level of heat! Plus, I appreciate that they always let me sub avocado for the meat. Their matcha-lemonade is perfect on a warm day, and their seasonal offerings never disappoint. The family who runs the shop is so kind and the atmosphere feels so homey. We often linger at a sidewalk table long after we’ve finished our sandwiches.

I had no idea this place even existed and I’m so glad that I used Yelp to find it. I came out a really good time. People were coming in and coming out. Seems like it’s a local neighborhood gem and I’m telling you… I’m so glad that I went! The employees actually bring the coffee to you! Very personable and down to earth. Crossing fingers this place stays around for a very long time. Seriously – they are so legit! Keep up the great work you guys!
